National League Transfer Round-Up: January

Boreham Wood have secured the free transfer signing of defender Krystian Pearce after he departed Solihull Moors. They have also managed to sign former striker Junior Morais on a temporary loan switch from Scottish Premiership side St Mirren.

Solihull Moors acted swiftly in signing a replacement for Pearce, with defender Nathan Cameron – who was with Wigan Athletic earlier this season – signing on a free transfer, with fellow defender Kyle Howkins also joining on loan from Newport County.

Yeovil Town agreed the transfer of former striker Rueben Reid from League Two side Cheltenham Town. They have also turned the loan moves for Alex Bradley and Max Hunt into permanent deals.

Kings Lynn Town have added to their squad with the signing of attacking player Alex Kiwomya, after the former Doncaster Rovers forward had most recently left Chesterfield. They have also secured the signing of left-back Tyler Denton, after he had also left Chesterfield.

Chesterfield have continued to strengthen their squad with a further seven additions. Former AFC Telford forward Marcus Dinanga joins on loan from Stevenage until the end of the season, as well as Jack Clarke – who was with Yeovil Town earlier this season – on a similar deal until the end of the campaign. They have also added midfielder Martin Smith to their squad after an agreement was reached for his free transfer from Salford City, as well as goalkeepers Grant Smith and Adam Przybek – the later on loan from Ipswich Town. Defender Gavin Gunning also joins on a free transfer along with left-back Alex Whittle, both from manager James Rowe’s former club Gloucester City.

Barnet have made a couple of additions to their side, with defender Themis Kafalas joining on loan from Queens Park Rangers until the end of the season. Liam Daly also joins on an undisclosed fee from Gloucester City, as well as fellow centre-half Ben Richards-Everton after he had been released by Bradford City. They have also signed forward Courtney Baker-Richardson on loan from Barrow.

Altrincham have completed the signing of midfielder Alistair Smith on a free transfer from Mansfield Town after he had been on loan with the club at the start of this season. They have also signed former striker Joe Piggott after his departure from Wigan Athletic.

Weymouth have secured the loan addition of defender Dominic Revan from Aston Villa until the end of the campaign, as well as the permanent addition of fellow young defender Jacob Mensah. They have also signed two attacking players, with Cambridge United forward Andrew Dallas joining on a temporary loan, while former Lincoln City midfielder Joan Luque joins on a permanent deal from Maidstone United. Former Grimsby Town striker Pierre Fonkeu also joins The Terras, after he was a free agent having left The Mariners last term.

Sutton United have added former Yeovil Town midfielder Rhys Browne to their ranks on a free transfer, as well as secured the loan addition of left-back Ben Margetson from Cardiff City.

Torquay United have added to their side, with midfielder Max Sheaf joining on loan from Hull City after a spell with Cheltenham Town last term. They have also added young striker Rob Street on loan from Crystal Palace, as well as goalkeeper James Hamon from Truro City to cover for an injury to Lucas Covolan. Swansea City defender Joe Lewis – who was on loan with The Gulls last year – has also signed on a permanent deal.

Bromley have signed midfielder Charlie Wakefield from fellow National League side Wealdstone, as well as securing the permanent addition of forward Courtney Duffus from Yeovil Town and midfielder Jack Bridge from Concord Rangers.

FC Halifax Town have announced the addition of Lewis Mansell and Jean Leroy-Belehouan on loan moves from Accrington Stanley and Sheffield United respectively. They have also completed the signing of Tahvon Campbell on loan from Cheltenham Town until the end of the season.

Notts County have added Inih Effiong to their ranks along with left-back Calvin Miller, both on loan deals running until the end of the season.

Dagenham and Redbridge have secured the loan signing of former left-back Liam Gordon – who had moved to Bolton Wanderers during the summer – until the end of the season.

Woking have secured a couple of additions, with former Cheltenham Town striker Jonte Smith joining on a free transfer, while former defender Moussa Diarra – who left for Havant and Waterlooville in the summer – has secured his permanent return to The Cards for an undisclosed fee.

Wealdstone have made four new signings, with defender Josh Meekings joining on a free transfer after most recently being at Scottish side Dundee. They have also added young midfielder Deshane Dalling on loan from Queens Park Rangers, as well as securing the return of goalkeeper Harry Isted from Luton Town, with Isted having been on loan with the club earlier this season. Maxim Kouogun has also joined on non-contract terms, with the defender having most recently been with Harrogate Town.

Hartlepool United have managed to extend the stay of defenders Jamie Sterry and Ryan Johnson with the club, after both had originally signed short-term deals.

Dover Athletic have secured the signing of young goalkeeper Oliver Webber on loan from Crystal Palace until the end of the season.

Dagenham and Redbridge have signed former Carlisle United and Braintree Town attacking player Mo Sagaf on a free transfer, with Sagaf having left the League Two side at the end of last season.
